Do business’ need about us video? This can surely be an introductory phase between the visitor and even potential customer and your business. It’s an opportunity to tell the viewer this is who we are and what we do and in some cases demonstrate the culture of your company.

From my observation in the past 20 years very few companies create a video for the about us page. But now more than ever the consumer wants to know more about the make up in the people of a business before they engage. Will they help me through the process of creating a video? Are they gonna be people I like? It’s already a difficult task to create this video project can they make this any easier for me?

Am I even considering the right people and company? Is it just some of the questions that a customer will ask themselves as you’re looking at your website here’s an opportunity to answer those questions. Google analytics and other social media trends will dictate that about us video should never be more than two minutes. First of all, most people will bail out in the first 60 seconds if you’re lucky to make it that far. It can be very difficult trimming down who you are and what you do as a business to just 60 seconds but you can make it at two. Don’t be surprised if the analytics show that most people bail out of your page in about 60 seconds if so it’s probably because they already like who you are what you do and how do you come across enough to make them interested enough to contact you.

These short videos is an ideal way to get acquainted with your customers in a positive way that gives out a consistent message and drawing a customer who already likes what they seen so far and makes the process a lot more comfortable for everyone.
